8 months and First Easter!

Your first Easter was wonderful! We went to Arkansas and had a great time. You and I went up for a week and then daddy met us up there for the weekend. It was our first time back since Christmas so it was so fun to go back! Your Mimi and Pops had the moving trucks at their house to move everything to West Virginia. We are sad to see them leave but excited for them at the same time. We found a bunch of your daddy's baby things as we were helping them pack up and brought it all home. There is a brown teddy bear and a little rubber ducky that you love. By the way you LOVE rubber ducky's. It is too cute. The Easter bunny brought you some rubber ducky's. We had a fun Easter egg hunt with all your cousins and had a big Easter lunch after church. Here are a few Easter pics...

We took you to the aquarium a few weeks ago and you loved it. You were so good the entire time. You stared at all the animals and just looked around everywhere we walked. It was our first big family outing to somewhere big like that. So fun!

The blue bonnets are beautiful this year so your Granny and I took you to a field close to the house and had a little mini photo shoot. We also took some pics of you around the neighborhood with some other pretty flowers. You are definitely use to the camera by now.



Still no teeth this month but I definitely think they are coming soon! You are not only standing now but you are cruising around while holding things. There is one toy that you are absolutely in love with right now. You wake up wanting to play with it. We took it to Fayetteville with us and you played and played and played with it. Don't worry we brought it back home with us too. You have started eating a few finger foods. There are these rice cakes called mum mums and you love them. I can't believe you are almost 9 months. Now I know why EVERYONE tells you it flys by....cause it does! We love you more than words can say! God has truly blessed us!



Seven sweet months and STANDING!

You have just learned how to stand up in your pack n play and you love every minute of it! You are such a smiley thing. Still no teeth but I absolutely love your gummy smile. You truly have the best smile in the world! Here you are standing your pack n play! We put pillows all around so when you do fall back its nice and comfy. When you do fall you just lay there and wait for us to come pick you up and stand you back up. You are not interested in trying to get back up on your own. Lazy lil thing :).

                                                

The weather is starting to warm up here in Texas and we have been getting outside as much as possible. You love to go on walks and look at everything around you! I am afraid its going to be a very HOT summer so we have to take advantage of the pretty weather while we can! Santa brought you a cute little tricycle for Christmas and you LOVE it. You look so cute in it too. We have attempted to let out doggy Ranger go with us on some walks but it is near impossible for me to keep us with both of you so he has been pretty upset about missing out on walks lately :). Here you are on some walks.

Easter is next month and you have so many cute outfits. I can't wait to show you off! Ohhhhhh my I almost forgot you have officially said YOUR FIRST WORD!!!!! It is........... DaDa! You love your daddy so much and you love when he gets home from work and plays with you. We both love you so much!





Happy 6 Months!!!

Well I am of course I am behind on your blog but I will have to say I have kept up with it better than I thought I would. I have been working on a scrapbook for you. It is going to be on the first year of your life. There are so many fun things to tell you about. This month your personality is really shinning through :). You love to clap and play peek a boo. You are a little social butterfly. I was worried about dropping you off at the gym and that you would cry but you LOVE it and you love watching all of the kids play around you. You are a people person unless you are tired of course :). No teeth  yet, although, you have been acting like we might get some soon. We will see. You still love sucking on your two fingers. Here you are doing it...

Oh I almost forgot you had your first Valentines Day. It was of course filled with lots of love! Your Daddy and I ordered in pizza and watched a movie while you slept. It was a great night. We love that you are a part of our lives now! I dressed you up in a couple of Valentine outfits. You were adorable as always. Here you are...

Although you are smiling in the above picture while on you tummy you still hate it. You little missy only want to sit up. I am not sure if we are going to hit the crawling stage or go straight to walking. We will see!!! You are loving your brother(doggy) Ranger more and more everyday. He loves you too. He is sometimes the only one that can make you smile if you are grumpy. I have a feeling as soon as you are walking you two are going to be all over the place with each other. Here you two are...

We have been hanging out with your cousins as much as we can. You and Ansley have both been sick off and on so we have not had as many play dates as we would like. We always have so much fun with them. Your Aunt Kortney and I wish we lived closer! We are only about 35 mintues away but sometimes that seems like hours away. Maybe we will be closer one day :) Here you are playing with your cousins...

5 Months and 1st Christmas!!!

Well your 1st Christmas was wonderful!!! You were so much fun! Being such a good baby paid off for you because you got A LOT of great things! We had your first Christmas at Mimi and Pops house. We went up a few days early and spent some time across town at your Granny and papay Lynns house. I don't think we are going to be able to do that as easily anymore because your Mimi and Pops are moving to West Virginia! I am sure we will have lots of fun going to visit them in a new place. You had some of the cutest Christmas outfits. I went a little Christmas crazy this year and couldn't reisist all the adorable clothes. Here is one of your Christmas dresses that a good friend gave us and your very first picture with Santa!!! By the way you loved Santa!

It was so fun getting to see you open all your gifts and especially your stocking. Your stocking was filled with all sorts of goodies. Your mimi and Pops got you a rocking chair that looks so cute in your room. I am sure you will spend many years rocking in it. Here you are in it and here is your stocking...

You started sitting up this month! You are doing really well with it. You still don't like to roll over very much. You would rather be up so you can see everything! You really are so much fun. Here you are showing off your sitting up skills while showing off your new dinner set from Granny!

Your daddy had to work most of the week before Christmas so you and I decided to fly up to Fayetteville early so we could spend more time with family. You did awesome on the plane!!! I was very proud of you. As soon as we took off you fell asleep. Everyone around us thought you were the cutest little thing ever....because you are!!!  You continue to be such a joy in our life. Your Daddy and I love you more and more everyday. You are such a happy baby!!! I can't tell you enough how thankful to God we are for you. Love you baby girl!!!

4 Months of Pure Joy!!!

Today you are four months old! We had your four month appointment on Friday. We kinda cheated and went a couple days early :). You are perfect in every way. You are my little chunker...16lbs!!! You are in the 95% for weight and 55% for height! Your gorgeous! Guess what you did at your doctors appointment...YOU little missy have not been rolling over AT ALL and we have been working on it everyday BUT when we got to the doctors office and I told him that... he put you on your tummy and you looked up at him and ROLLED OVER for the FIRST time! I was one proud mommy! You did really well with your shots. The first one you didn't even cry just got a sad puppy lip but the second one must have hurt a lot more :( but once I scooped you up in my arms you were just fine! Here is a pic of you today at 4 months!

So you had your very first bite of baby food. Peas is what we tried first. You love them! Bananas is what we tried for your first fruit, I think you enjoyed them but not as much as the peas! Your daddy and I both really wanted to give you your first bite but since he works all day and doesn't get to see you as my as me I let him. You will see a video below with some pictures. You are really getting the hang of it now. You know what to do when you see the spoon coming your way. Can't wait to let you try new foods and see what you think. Daddys work gave you a really nice silver spoon with your name on it so that is what you ate off of for the first time!

Things you are loving these days are your exersaucer, your rattle, baby food,your dog Ranger, laying on your back with me while we read a book, your daddy, bath time, and your mommy! You are so much more active this month! You are on a four hour schedule so you are up for 2 hours and then asleep for 2 hours twice a day and then up for the rest of the evening till bedtime! So we get to play a lot more with you and your so so so much fun. You are full of smiles all the time. You laughed for the first time last week and it was ADORABLE. I was tickling your neck and you had the cutest laugh. Your daddy and I were very excited and proud! Oh another thing you picked up this month is sucking on your fingers! You will not take your paci anymore cause all you want are you fingers. Your index and middle finger. That is how you put yourself to sleep. We also stopped swaddling you this month and you love it. Your arms are free!!! Here is a picture of you sleeping...

We are heading back to Arkansas for Thanksgiving. I am sure you will have so much fun being around all the family. I am excited for everyone to see how much you have changed over the past month! It is amazing how fast you learn things! Your daddy and I love you more everyday. I thank God every single day for such a precious gift. Can't wait to see what you do this month!   

3 Months and Oh so Fun!

Well Little Missy you are 3 months old now....well more like 3 1/2. You are so much fun and full of smiles. We just got back from spending a whole week in Fayetteville and you were so good. I was ready to get you home so I could have you to myself though :). We got your pictures taken while we were in Arkansas and I can't wait to see them. We did have to change your outfit SEVERAL times because of all the spit up but you did so good. The sweet little hat you are wearing in your pictures your Granny made for you! The photographer has only posted 2 so far and here they are...

You are so much more active these days. You are busy in your play pen, exersaucer, jump n go, and you went to the park for the first time to swing! You love staying busy but I will tell you what you DON"T like and that is tummy time! You want nothing to do with it. I am a total push over and don't make you do it too long because it's so sad to hear you cry it out. I do make you do a little everyday though. Have I mentioned that you LOVE your baby bjorn (back pack thing). Once I figured that out shopping is so much easier and fun with you. You love to be facing out and looking at all the things around you. You don't mind your stroller but you don't last very long in it before you get mad so we use the baby bjorn A LOT! Although you are starting to get a little heavy missy so we will see how long we can use it! Here's a pic of us shopping with your cousins Dalton and Hadley. Our dog Ranger is really starting to be interested in you. He loves licking your feet and hands. He tried to lick your face but we say NO to that! We were really worried about how he was going to do with you but he has done great and you can tell he loves you. He doesn't like it when you cry, he looks at me like go and get her! He does love to eat your hair bows and that obviously doesn't go over well with me! These two boys love you very much!!!

Your going to be a cute little pumpkin for your First Halloween! We have a party with our Sunday school class this week so I will be taking lots of pictures of you in your cute costume! You have some really cute Halloween outfits that we got for you, here is one of them...

I love you so so so much! It has been an incredible three months! Can't wait to see what month 4 brings!!!
