Maebry you are TWO!!!!!

Maebry Jean you are TWO!!! How did this happen! I cannot believe time has gone by so fast. I feel like it was yesterday that we had your first birthday party. You are so much fun and bring so much joy to our life. It is so fun to watch you grow in so many ways. You went from taking your first steps last year to talking, running, counting, coloring, singing, sleeping in a big girl bed, pigtails, jumping, saying your ABC's, and so much more!!!You make us so proud. You absolutely love life. Your Papi bought you a trampoline for your birthday and that is probably your favorite thing to do these days! You jump everywhere you go! You have had a lot of new things happen in the past few months. A new sister, a new house, and a new big girl bed! You have done wonderful with all of them. I was mostly impressed how you adjusted to Emilia. You have been so sweet to her. I hope you girls are always close and love each other unconditionally. I asked you several times what kind of birthday party you wanted and you gave me the same answer every time. HELLO KITTY!!!! So Hello Kitty it was! Here are some pics...

 

 

We love your excitement for life. You get so excited about things. Your favorite thing to eat is CHEESE! Yellow Kraft slices. You ask for one at least twice a day :). You don't always get it but you definitely get plenty. You will sit at the table and color forever. You love for your daddy and I to join you. You like to pick out the colors for me. Instead of picking one page to color on, you start from the very beginning of the book and color EVERY page for about 3 seconds each. I love it. Your favorite toy this year have been big lego blocks (favorite toy by far). Your daddy and I have spent HOURS building these blocks with you and you love to knock them down. Favorite movie has been Winnie the Pooh. Oh how many times we have watched it. I can't lie your daddy and I really enjoy it. Favorite animal has been a toss up...the beginning of the year was lamby and now it is a bird pillow you call tweet tweet that I bought you before you were born. I just knew you would love it :). Favorite books have been Brown Bear Brown Bear, Mickey Mouse, Marley and Me, and Pajama Time. Oh you have always loved books! You will spend so much time at your book shelf just going through books after books. Favorite T.V. shows have been Mickey  Mouse Clubhouse, Max and Ruby, and UmiZoomi. Favorite songs have been "Way up High in the Apple Tree", "Jesus Loves Me", "This Little Light of Mine", and "Zaccheaus Was a Wee Little Man". We sing every night before bed and you usually pick on of these to sing.

 

I wish I could freeze time. It is so fun to watch you grow but at the same time I want you to stop  :). These two years have just flown by and have been so fun. We love you so much Maebry Jean.

 



2 months-Cooing and rolling over!

Emilia you are too sweet! You have started cooing and you ROLLED OVER! We are so proud of you. You were laying on the living room rug and you rolled over from your tummy to back. We were so excited. The first year has so many exciting "firsts"! You are really starting to chunk up and it is so cute. We put you in your bumbo chair for the first time and you loved it. You hold your head up really well. Maebry pays more and more attention to you every week. She is so sweet to you and her favorite thing to do is kiss your forehead. Your 2 month checkup went great. You were pretty much in the 50% percentile for everything. The shots were of course so sad. You did great that day but that night you were in some pain and it broke my heart. It lasted a few hours and then you were just fine :). Here you are at the doctors office...

 

A few things you love to do right now is sit in your swing and look at the mobile go round and round.Maebry got a new beanbag chair but you are the one who loves it. You like to just sit up in it and look at the lights. The FAN! Oh the fan...you LOVE the fan! You will just smile and smile at it! Speaking of smiling you smile all the time and it melts my heart. It is a beautiful smile and I hope you keep it up forever. Here you are in your bumbo and in the beanbag chair with your sweet smile...

 

 

Oh and I can't forget the picture of you looking at the fan when I was trying to give you a bottle. I hardly ever give you a bottle but you loved it that day because you just stared at the fan and smiled the whole time which turned in to a VERY long feeding :)...

 

 

We love you Emilia Jane and love watching you grow! God has blessed this family with your sweet presence. You make my heart smile!!!





Emilia Jane Hankins- Born May 21, 2013 - 1 month old!

Emilia Jane you are beautiful and perfect in every way! We all had a great experience with your delivery. All was smooth and you were perfect. You were 19.5 in long and weighed  6 lbs 13 oz! Here you are on the day of your birth...

 

Here you are at your 1 week check up...

You smiled this month! It was adorable! I try to get you to smile as much as I can because I love seeing it. You love to hear your sister run around and yell. She loves you already very much. Her favorite thing to do with you is kiss you on the head. She has been very gentle with you. Here you are smiling...

You took your first trip to Arkansas already. Both you and Maebry traveled to Arkansas in the first month of life. A born Razorback! You slept great and traveled great too. Here's you and your sister in Arkansas on the 4th of July...

 Your Daddy and I moved you into your room at 4 weeks. It was sad but we all slept better :). You are a great sleeper and a very happy baby! You make sweet little noises and love baths! I am so excited for you and Maebry to be so close in age. It is going to be so fun to watch you girls grow up. We love you so much! I hope I can keep up with this blog!

It is almost time to meet you Emilia!

Emilia I can't believe this is only my second post to you through this whole pregnancy. I am much busier this time around :). I am 36 weeks pregnant and it is almost time to meet you. I can't wait! You are a busy little bee in my tummy. You love to do summer salts! I can't wait to see what you look like and your daddy and big sister are super excited too! Here we are at the zoo when I am 35 weeks pregnant with you!

 

We have moved into a new house in the past month. We absolutely love it! We have tried really hard to get all settled before your big arrival! We are mostly settled and here is a picture of your ALMOST done nursery!

A few of my favorite things right now during pregnancy are still turkey burgers and avocado, oatmeal cream pies, and lucky charms! It is starting to warm up here in Texas so I have to say I am very glad I don't have to go through the heat of the summer while pregnant! You will already be here for the heat!

 

My sweet friend Ali gave you a baby shower. It was SO much fun! It was a perfect day with perfect weather with a whole lot of people who love you! Here is the beautiful table setting at your shower...

 

I am guessing the next time I write in this blog you will already be here with us! Can't wait to meet you! We love you Emilia Jane!!!

Emilia Jane~My first blog to you!

Emilia Jane we have officially given you a name! You are getting very big in my tummy! You will make your debut in about 3 1/2 months! Sorry I have not blogged much during my pregnancy with you. I am much busier this time around! Maebry you keep mommy very busy and I love every minute of it. My favorite thing to eat during this pregnancy has been turkey burgers with avocado! Yum! Unfortunately not everything I have craved has been heatlhy. Just like with you Maebry I have loved hot baths and naps!




 Your daddy and I just sold our house and we will be moving to a new house in the next couple months. We are very excited!!! Hopefully I will have both of your rooms done before you get here Emilia Jane. It is going to be a fun and very busy few months coming up. Here is a picture of me in front of our new house!

I can't wait for you girls to grow up together and be so close. You two may be very different or very much alike but either way we want both of you girls to love each other unconditionally. There is going to be lots of pink and purple in our house for a long time. Here is a cute picture of sister!

You are going to have a SISTER!!!

We found out yesterday you are going to have a sister! We are so excited! It is going to be so fun that you have a sister so close in age and hopefully you two will love the same things and be best friends! We do not have a name for her yet. We actually thought it was a boy, it was just our gut feeling so we had no girl names picked out but we are working on it! Can't wait to meet her. I guess this blog will soon be to both of you girls!!!

It is Christmas time. You haven now had two pictures taken with Santa. The first one I am in it with you because you weren't quite sure what you thought about Santa. The second time around you sat right on his lap and we got a great picture of just you two. It is going to be a fun Christmas. You have such a fun and sweet personality! You have been going under the Christmas tree and putting presents into your tent. haha you must know there are some fun toys inside! Thanksgiving was great. We were in Arkansas of course. We were able to spend it with lots of family. Your Mimi and Pops are both in West Virginia now. We are hoping to make a trip to see them in the near future. You also have a new cousin, Hannah! She is adorable! There are going to be lots of little girls around and lots of pink toys! So fun! The family is growing fast! Here are some holiday pics of you this year:

 

We will be going back to Arkansas for Christmas in a couple weeks! It has been very cold here and you have been sick this week. You have had croup and a double ear infection! Poor baby, it breaks my heart but you are a trooper! You have done really well! Hope the medicine gets you well soon. Hopefully next time we post on here we will have a name for your little sister :). We love you very much and you continue to bring more joy to our life everyday!!! 

16 months and your going to be a BIG SISTER!!!

 

SISTER TO BE...

 

 

Well, it has been a while since I have posted a new blog. Since your first birthday, ooops! You are 16 months old today. The big news is your going to be a big sister! I am 3 months pregnant right now so you two will be 22 months apart! I am so excited for you to have a brother or a sister so close in age. We will find out in about 3-4 weeks if it is a brother or a sister. I have a feeling it is a boy BUT who knows. I had a feeling you were a girl when I was pregnant and was obviously right about that one. These last 3 months have been very tiring but you have been such a trooper! You are very independent at home and are very good about entertaining yourself. You still LOVE to read books. You will sit in your room and read and read and read! You are really starting to say a lot of words too. Your favorite word right now is "please" because you think if you say it you can get exactly what you want. It is kinda true. Here you are reading...

 

Halloween was so much fun with you this year. We dressed you up as a little duck and you were adorable! Daddy was working long hours so we went to Fayetteville and trick or treated there with everyone. You waddled up and down the sidewalk and loved every minute of it. You cared nothing about the candy but I did! I had all sorts of treats that night thanks to you! You were very proud to wear your costume! You love getting dressed up in hats so you left it on all night. Here you are with Mimi and Granny...

 

Oh another new favorite thing you have is your tent! You spend a lot of the day in the tent that we got you. You have two different ones. One is a tee pee and the other is a princess tent. You crawl back and forth with your toys. Too cute. Your daddy loves to get in it too. It is usually the first thing he does with you when he gets home from work!

 

We love you very much and you are so much fun these days! Next time I blog we should know if you are gonna be having a brother or sister! Yay!!!
