You are going to have a SISTER!!!

We found out yesterday you are going to have a sister! We are so excited! It is going to be so fun that you have a sister so close in age and hopefully you two will love the same things and be best friends! We do not have a name for her yet. We actually thought it was a boy, it was just our gut feeling so we had no girl names picked out but we are working on it! Can't wait to meet her. I guess this blog will soon be to both of you girls!!!

It is Christmas time. You haven now had two pictures taken with Santa. The first one I am in it with you because you weren't quite sure what you thought about Santa. The second time around you sat right on his lap and we got a great picture of just you two. It is going to be a fun Christmas. You have such a fun and sweet personality! You have been going under the Christmas tree and putting presents into your tent. haha you must know there are some fun toys inside! Thanksgiving was great. We were in Arkansas of course. We were able to spend it with lots of family. Your Mimi and Pops are both in West Virginia now. We are hoping to make a trip to see them in the near future. You also have a new cousin, Hannah! She is adorable! There are going to be lots of little girls around and lots of pink toys! So fun! The family is growing fast! Here are some holiday pics of you this year:

 

We will be going back to Arkansas for Christmas in a couple weeks! It has been very cold here and you have been sick this week. You have had croup and a double ear infection! Poor baby, it breaks my heart but you are a trooper! You have done really well! Hope the medicine gets you well soon. Hopefully next time we post on here we will have a name for your little sister :). We love you very much and you continue to bring more joy to our life everyday!!!

SISTER TO BE...

 

 

Well, it has been a while since I have posted a new blog. Since your first birthday, ooops! You are 16 months old today. The big news is your going to be a big sister! I am 3 months pregnant right now so you two will be 22 months apart! I am so excited for you to have a brother or a sister so close in age. We will find out in about 3-4 weeks if it is a brother or a sister. I have a feeling it is a boy BUT who knows. I had a feeling you were a girl when I was pregnant and was obviously right about that one. These last 3 months have been very tiring but you have been such a trooper! You are very independent at home and are very good about entertaining yourself. You still LOVE to read books. You will sit in your room and read and read and read! You are really starting to say a lot of words too. Your favorite word right now is "please" because you think if you say it you can get exactly what you want. It is kinda true. Here you are reading...

 

Halloween was so much fun with you this year. We dressed you up as a little duck and you were adorable! Daddy was working long hours so we went to Fayetteville and trick or treated there with everyone. You waddled up and down the sidewalk and loved every minute of it. You cared nothing about the candy but I did! I had all sorts of treats that night thanks to you! You were very proud to wear your costume! You love getting dressed up in hats so you left it on all night. Here you are with Mimi and Granny...

 

Oh another new favorite thing you have is your tent! You spend a lot of the day in the tent that we got you. You have two different ones. One is a tee pee and the other is a princess tent. You crawl back and forth with your toys. Too cute. Your daddy loves to get in it too. It is usually the first thing he does with you when he gets home from work!

 

We love you very much and you are so much fun these days! Next time I blog we should know if you are gonna be having a brother or sister! Yay!!!

 



You are ONE!!!

I can't believe it you are ONE! I feel like I just started this blog yesterday but here you are one year later and such a big girl! I have to admit you are actually 14 months as I am typing this :) I have been slacking on the blog. Let me tell you your birthday was so much fun! You had so many people that love you come to your party. Your Mimi, Pops, Aunt Hillary, Uncle Nathan, Granny, Papa Lynn, Papa John, Aunt Kortney, Uncle Josh, and your cousins! How fun it was. We has lots of friends come too. We had a bounce house, blow up slip n slide, baby pool, and pinata in the back yard. Your daddy grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone! It was so fun. Here you are getting kisses from mommy and daddy...

We had professional pictures done also and they couldn't have been cuter. You were such a trooper because it was SO hot outside and you were wearing a tutu that had to have been miserably hot but you did great. We let you do a cake smash of course and you were just so dainty with it. You barely stuck your finger in it and tasted just a little bit and then you looked up at us smiling like do I really get to eat this! We let you eat plenty but of course we took it away before you made yourself sick. Here are a couple of your gorgeous pictures...

 

You officially sleep on your tummy now. You have always hated sleeping on your tummy or playing on your tummy but you now sleep every possible way. You are a little worm in your crib! Ha and another thing you now do is "crawl". It is safe to say that you skipped crawling all together but now that you can walk everywhere you decided to try and crawl a little. It is funny. You are walking around like crazy! You have it down pat! You also started standing up in your crib when you are ready to get up. Thank goodness you have not tried to climb out or anything. We also turned you around in your carseat and let me tell you that it is awesome for all of us! You love it and I can see you now and can hand you things when I need to. Not to mention you love the dvd player! Mickey Mouse clubhouse is your absolute favorite!

Let me tell you Maebry Jean that you have made this the best year of your mommy and daddys life. You have brought us so much joy! You have already taught us so much and we pray everyday that you become the girl and women that God has made you to be. We hope that we can show you Gods love through the way we live our life. We love you yesterday, today, and tomorrow too! 

 



11 Months and WALKING!

It is official you CAN walk without holding on to something BUT you don't like to. You prefer to cruise along holding onto things. You are taking several steps by yourself when your daddy and I make you walk back and forth to us. It is so fun to watch you! The first time we watched you take your steps without holding onto anything your Daddy and I were so giddy and oh so proud! I am much busier these days making sure you are not getting into anything your not supposed to. You love to walk down the hall into our bedroom and check out things in there. I can't believe you are almost ONE. It is crazy how fast this year has gone by. You are getting so big!

You have TEETH! You finally cut 2 teeth on the bottom. They are not fully in but they are out. I thought you were never going to get teeth. I have to say I love your gummy smile so I am in no hurry for you to get all your teeth in. You also have a lot to say these days but it is all baby talk. You are saying dada and mama. You contine to read books all the time and baby talk your way through every page. It is also official that "Brown Bear Brown Bear" is your new favorite book. I always have to read it to you two or more time in a row. Just once does not go over well with you.

I am gearing up for your big birthday party. I have been planning for months. I want it to be a special day for you. I made you a tutu and we have pictures this week!

We have been spending a lot of time at the pool. You love the water! I am so glad you love the water because it could be a very long hot summer withought the pool! Here you are...

We went to VBS this week. It was a great week! I helped teach first grade and you stayed in the nursery all week and did great!!! You are such a trooper. Your Papa John also came down for Fathers Day. Your Daddy had a good Fathers Day. I made him a homeade chocolate pie and he loved it. On a sad note we had to give our doggy Ranger to your Papa John. We miss him so much. He is such a good doggy but he started getting snippy with you since you are walking around now and we couldn't take any chances. He is such a big dog and your so tiny. He is very happy with your Papa though. He is getting so much more attention there than he did here! Here is a pic of Fathers Day...







You amaze us more every month. We couldn't love you anymore. I can't wait to celebrate your first year of life in a couple of weeks! It is going to be such a special day with lots of family in town. Always remember nobody loves you more than God does but we are next in line :). We love you Maebry!

10 months and cruising along

You are cruising anywhere and everywhere! You have ventured from the ottoman and are going down the halls and along anything you can put your hands on. You never get tired of walking around the same places over and over! You are so easily entertained. If we put a huge pile of toys in front of you with some books you always go for the books. You love to sit there and read to yourself while looking at the pictures. Your favorite book has always beeen "Pajama Time" but you are really starting to like "Brown Bear Brown Bear". I am so glad you like to read. We have tried to make books really fun so you would.

I had my first Mothers Day. Your daddy got me a porch swing. I love it! The reason I wanted a porch swing so bad was when we go to your Grannys it is your favorite thing to do. So I knew how much you would enjoy it as well as me. It was a special first Mothers Day because you got dedicated at church! It is so important for us to raise you in a Godly home and this was a promise to you that your Daddy and I will do that! You have truly been such a joy to your Daddy and I. You are so much fun and such a sweet little girl!

Some fun things we did this month are... Your granny and Mimi came to town for Mothers Day and your Baby dedication. They both had so much fun with you. Your cousin Ansley got dedicated the same day so after yours we went to hers and then had a big lunch at your Aunt Kortneys. It was a great Mothers Day!  Here we are at the dedication...

We went to dinner with your Aunt Kortney and Uncle Josh and all your cousins. We had so much fun listening to a band outside. Here we are having fun...

9 months and sassy!!!

You are a busy busy little bee this month! You are standing all over the place and as long as you are holding on to something nothing can stop you! We bought a new ottoman and you have walked  in circles around it and it is all you wanted to do! You are going to have some strong legs. No crawling for you only standing and ALMOST walking! It is only May here in Texas and it is already getting hot. I am afraid it is going to be a very hot summer. Guess we will be at the pool a lot :). I found you a baby pool at a garage sale ( I LOVE garage sales) and you have loved it so far. I am afraid it has a small hole in it though. You are too cute in your swimsuits! This coming weekend you are getting dedicated at church. It is going to be on Mothers Day. I am so excited for you. It is going to be such a special day. Your Granny and Mimi are both coming into town to share this special time with you. We all love you so much! I have not decided which dress you are going to wear yet because you look perfect in all of them! I will have to post pics in next months blog. I can't believe how fast you have grown. Now I know why EVERYONE says "they grow up so fast"...because its TRUE!

Speaking of garage sales I found the cutest tent that I got for you and you love to sit inside of it and play with your toys. Here you are with Daddy hanging out. Ranger likes it too...

Oh I almost forgot you LOVE to feed yourself now. Not with a baby spoon but just finger foods! We have been trying all sorts of new big girl food. I let you try some of my snow cone the other day and you could not get enough of it. I need to go find you some sugar free Popsicles! You are almost straight bottle feeding now. I can't believe I have been breastfeeding for  almost 10 months! I think it will be right at 10 months that we are done. I am so glad we did it this long because they say it is great for you. Oh and still no teeth little missy but I think the bottom two are coming soon! Your daddy and I love you more and more everyday. You are our little sugar bear! 



8 months and First Easter!

Your first Easter was wonderful! We went to Arkansas and had a great time. You and I went up for a week and then daddy met us up there for the weekend. It was our first time back since Christmas so it was so fun to go back! Your Mimi and Pops had the moving trucks at their house to move everything to West Virginia. We are sad to see them leave but excited for them at the same time. We found a bunch of your daddy's baby things as we were helping them pack up and brought it all home. There is a brown teddy bear and a little rubber ducky that you love. By the way you LOVE rubber ducky's. It is too cute. The Easter bunny brought you some rubber ducky's. We had a fun Easter egg hunt with all your cousins and had a big Easter lunch after church. Here are a few Easter pics...

We took you to the aquarium a few weeks ago and you loved it. You were so good the entire time. You stared at all the animals and just looked around everywhere we walked. It was our first big family outing to somewhere big like that. So fun!

The blue bonnets are beautiful this year so your Granny and I took you to a field close to the house and had a little mini photo shoot. We also took some pics of you around the neighborhood with some other pretty flowers. You are definitely use to the camera by now.



Still no teeth this month but I definitely think they are coming soon! You are not only standing now but you are cruising around while holding things. There is one toy that you are absolutely in love with right now. You wake up wanting to play with it. We took it to Fayetteville with us and you played and played and played with it. Don't worry we brought it back home with us too. You have started eating a few finger foods. There are these rice cakes called mum mums and you love them. I can't believe you are almost 9 months. Now I know why EVERYONE tells you it flys by....cause it does! We love you more than words can say! God has truly blessed us!



Seven sweet months and STANDING!

You have just learned how to stand up in your pack n play and you love every minute of it! You are such a smiley thing. Still no teeth but I absolutely love your gummy smile. You truly have the best smile in the world! Here you are standing your pack n play! We put pillows all around so when you do fall back its nice and comfy. When you do fall you just lay there and wait for us to come pick you up and stand you back up. You are not interested in trying to get back up on your own. Lazy lil thing :).

                                                

The weather is starting to warm up here in Texas and we have been getting outside as much as possible. You love to go on walks and look at everything around you! I am afraid its going to be a very HOT summer so we have to take advantage of the pretty weather while we can! Santa brought you a cute little tricycle for Christmas and you LOVE it. You look so cute in it too. We have attempted to let out doggy Ranger go with us on some walks but it is near impossible for me to keep us with both of you so he has been pretty upset about missing out on walks lately :). Here you are on some walks.

Easter is next month and you have so many cute outfits. I can't wait to show you off! Ohhhhhh my I almost forgot you have officially said YOUR FIRST WORD!!!!! It is........... DaDa! You love your daddy so much and you love when he gets home from work and plays with you. We both love you so much!





Happy 6 Months!!!

Well I am of course I am behind on your blog but I will have to say I have kept up with it better than I thought I would. I have been working on a scrapbook for you. It is going to be on the first year of your life. There are so many fun things to tell you about. This month your personality is really shinning through :). You love to clap and play peek a boo. You are a little social butterfly. I was worried about dropping you off at the gym and that you would cry but you LOVE it and you love watching all of the kids play around you. You are a people person unless you are tired of course :). No teeth  yet, although, you have been acting like we might get some soon. We will see. You still love sucking on your two fingers. Here you are doing it...

Oh I almost forgot you had your first Valentines Day. It was of course filled with lots of love! Your Daddy and I ordered in pizza and watched a movie while you slept. It was a great night. We love that you are a part of our lives now! I dressed you up in a couple of Valentine outfits. You were adorable as always. Here you are...

Although you are smiling in the above picture while on you tummy you still hate it. You little missy only want to sit up. I am not sure if we are going to hit the crawling stage or go straight to walking. We will see!!! You are loving your brother(doggy) Ranger more and more everyday. He loves you too. He is sometimes the only one that can make you smile if you are grumpy. I have a feeling as soon as you are walking you two are going to be all over the place with each other. Here you two are...

We have been hanging out with your cousins as much as we can. You and Ansley have both been sick off and on so we have not had as many play dates as we would like. We always have so much fun with them. Your Aunt Kortney and I wish we lived closer! We are only about 35 mintues away but sometimes that seems like hours away. Maybe we will be closer one day :) Here you are playing with your cousins...

5 Months and 1st Christmas!!!

Well your 1st Christmas was wonderful!!! You were so much fun! Being such a good baby paid off for you because you got A LOT of great things! We had your first Christmas at Mimi and Pops house. We went up a few days early and spent some time across town at your Granny and papay Lynns house. I don't think we are going to be able to do that as easily anymore because your Mimi and Pops are moving to West Virginia! I am sure we will have lots of fun going to visit them in a new place. You had some of the cutest Christmas outfits. I went a little Christmas crazy this year and couldn't reisist all the adorable clothes. Here is one of your Christmas dresses that a good friend gave us and your very first picture with Santa!!! By the way you loved Santa!

It was so fun getting to see you open all your gifts and especially your stocking. Your stocking was filled with all sorts of goodies. Your mimi and Pops got you a rocking chair that looks so cute in your room. I am sure you will spend many years rocking in it. Here you are in it and here is your stocking...

You started sitting up this month! You are doing really well with it. You still don't like to roll over very much. You would rather be up so you can see everything! You really are so much fun. Here you are showing off your sitting up skills while showing off your new dinner set from Granny!

Your daddy had to work most of the week before Christmas so you and I decided to fly up to Fayetteville early so we could spend more time with family. You did awesome on the plane!!! I was very proud of you. As soon as we took off you fell asleep. Everyone around us thought you were the cutest little thing ever....because you are!!!
